Smeg Cookers

The wife tells me we need a new freestanding cooker, I am looking for a 60cm dual fuel cooker as our is on the way out. Have been looking at the Smeg stuff like the SUK62MBL5 or SUK61MBL5 these seem well built to me dont know much about Smeg as a company other than that we don’t seem to get a lot of enquires for their repair. Does Smeg manufacturer their own products and what about spares ? Having looked at the New World, Belling, Stoves stuff I was’nt that impressed.

aside from the usual element issues, they are pretty well sorted out. and yes SMEG do make them in Italy.
as you say, the competition aint that great for 60cm’s
