    Hi Guys
    I have built in smeg fridge/freeezer, the drain tube is blocked solid proberly ice,before I pull it out can you tell me if the drain is intergrated in the foam and if so have you had any problems with them freezing up.

    There is sometimes a drain heater embedded in the channel and drain hole but not sure on this one,the drain tube is just a plastic insert through the foam usually.Always open the hole through the tube whilst I’m clearing them.

    sorry I should have said,it is the fridge drain tube that is blocked.

    Have you tried poking in out with a decent cable tie or similar,not usually ice if it’s the fridge drain.

    It is blocked about 24 inches down the tube.

    Think you will have to remove cabinet from cupboard,you should then be able to get at the tube which usually goes between the condenser and the back of the cabinet,if you can’t clear you can join a new section on.
