My Smeg CR5050AP is a bit warm in the fridge department, so I decided to order a thermostat. The replacement came and it’s an A13 0736 like the one that came out, but the pinout is totally different. I’m assuming it’s a generic type. Is it common to have to make up your own loom?
What did you order, part number wise or from UKW the order number so I can see what it is?
Most though, follow the numbers of the terminal posts printed on the casing, they should be the same from stat to stat unless there’s a modification to it in some way.
I ordered a A13 0736-33U1530 according to the part finder on Ransoms website.Although on the box it says K59-S1891500 – 484000008626 and that matches up with a picture of the new/wrong part.
Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I have the adaptor, but i’m not sure how it helps as it doesn’t really fit. The wife is now getting annoyed cos the fridge has been warm for over a week waiting for this to come.
