Smeg D I 612 C dishwasher

Hi this dishwasher aborts at start of wash action with 2nd light flashing & 5th light on , fault code says anti flood system activated but this is not the case , could this be the heater relay, element okay it appears to abort at the time the heater would come thanks.

If the diaphragm in the antiflood doesn’t lift during the fill (E2 error) then have a peek at the dispenser solenoid…flexing the terminals during a continuity test usually shows the fault 😉
