I did post on this last week but I’m guessing it went AWOL when the server borked.

Model DF612SE. Under two years old. Totally dead, no lights nothing. I have since returned to the machine armed with a wiring diagram ( thanks Chris).

Machine looks like new, no wiring faults, all components including dispenser solenoid appear OK, no shorts or insulation problems.

I have traced through the On/Off switch, past the door switches and pressure switch and reach a dead end at the module. last week I didn’t notice any problems on the module but a more rigorous examination reveals a tiny wire protruding from the side of a small resistor on the board.

Questions, is this common, is it just the board that has failed or is it likely that something else has taken it out?

Supplementary question, how much is the board and does anyone know the part number?

    Thanks.

    Jim.

Thanks for that Mark and the PM. I was puzzled as to why there was no sign of life whatsoever. 😕

I did hazard a guess as to the cost of a new module and wasn’t that far out. 😥

He intimated that as the machine was well under 2 years old he intended to pursue the retailer for some sort of consideration.

He is a good friend and fellow squash player but did cough up my call out charge without any prompting, ‘friends’ usually expect freebies. 8)

    Jim.
