smeg d/washer dwd1sse,no go?

hi,havent looked at this job yet,but its a smeg d/washer dwd1sse,which has a digital display which shows fault codes,if you set this 1 on a p5 (one of the programs) and press start in makes a clunking noise,shows minutes for the program then swithes back to p5 and stops,first thought is the door interlock,but havent done much work on these,any ideas would be appreciated,

Have you looked in the “known error codes” thread towards the top of the forum?

i have,but no fault code appears,im looking at it today,il post more info if i cant get over it,cheers

should show a fault code, but the clunking noise could either be a blocked drain pump (as that is powered up straight away) or the alternating valve maybe (usually gives a fault code though).

soap dispensor valve was o/c,all good now
