Hi i just got the DF614 from a well know auction site and it had the broken button issue that plagued these machines. i have replace the pcb holder and the key tree thing, but there seems to be another issue.
there is no errors flashing up butt he program light is on the ‘glasses’ and im unable to change it or unpause it if its paused. i have even taken the pcb out of the machine and pressing the actuall micro switches on the board the status still does not change and/ or the machine doesnt start.
i have tried to reset the machine by turning it off at the plug and i have also tried turning it on and pressing either buttons.
does anyne know what else could be stopping this machine from responding or do we think that the pcb is busted ?thanks in advance

yer i tried that too nothing happens. i have the empty salt light on the empty rinse aid light on (this sometimes goes off even though theres no rinse aid in it) and the second program light.

just wondering if anyone knows if its possible to loop the 2 wires together on the sensors to prove if the sensors are broken or not, seems an expensive route to change things willy nilly. ta

anyone know if that is possible or is it a case of ordering a new soap tray, then door lock, then possibly a pcb ?

Ok so a quick update.. I have ruled out the door switch (bypassed that) it seems that on the main board there is a plug with 2 blue wires that if I unplug I have control of the dishWasher again ( woohoo) but no the cycle starts and drains the old water then fills and about 5 mins into the wash the machines errors with an e8 I.e unknown wash error and goea and empties the washer. I’m assuming the 2 wires I pulled out are for the heater. So I thought maybe its mpaning because it can’t heat the water so I plumbed in the hot water and I get the same error.
Any1 have any ideas please
