Hi this dishwasher comes up antiflood activated also the lower spray arm is set to the left of the dishwasher and is very lose is this ok as it flops about and does not fit firmly in the hole . could this cause the flood switch to come on.

no the arm is always that loose!
activating antiflood but is it actualy leaking? If leaking whip the rh side panel off, often its the o rings between the air break and the water softner. If not, take the bottom front off and look in there with a torch.Re: smeg di 4150
If it is not the ‘o’ rings then check THIS out.

Called at this machine to day found no leaks but had not drained switched to drain it drained away set a program it went all the way drained all ok. but as it was washing it had a clunking noise from inside as if the arm was hiting some thing but the machine was empty (? this loose sprayarm) can any one help
