this is a rarely used d/w. 2 or 3 times a year. noticed water supply is off the hot pipe. select any program, and the drain pump comes in on/off, on/off, on/off…no water or damp in bottom tray so not likely to be flood prevention…no water in just on/ff drain pump.
    thanks

They do 3 or 4 back washes before complete fill…seems like an age before the wash pump cuts in. If the drain pumps runs for a minute or so then stops for a about half a minute then repeats it sounds like it simply isn’t taking in water.

Is the hot supply pressure/flowrate sufficient to open the valve?

will go back and swap the inlet to cold and see what happens.. at the moment the drain pump runs and stutters when running.

If the pump itself is ok that sounds more like a pcb then, but do check for earth faults as they play havoc with the pcb 😕
