ParticipantOriginal error code indicated water in base. Took off kick plate and mopped up water in base. Polystyrene float working well. Checked the 3 O rings on the air brake. Not perished. Checked water inlet hose and outlet hose, can’t find any leaks.
Put the whole thing back together again & now when I switch it on the 1st 2 lights on the right come on but then pressing the little button does nothing so can’t select any programme.
Coming home after NHS shift wearing PPE every day, sounds pathetic but this IS the last straw & has reduced me to tears!April 28, 2020 at 5:54 pm #468333kaibart
ModeratorOne other thing to check is the lower spray arm these are prone to splitting the larger one kai

ParticipantThanks, but it’s not any of the error codes. Just the right hand 2 lights on solidly. Just as if it’s about to work, but when I press the little button it doesn’t start offering me one of the programs, it does nothing.

ParticipantI am officially a muppet. The reason it wouldn’t start was because we had the door closed. I programmed it with the door open and for one glorious moment it started. Then the aqua stop kicked it and it stopped. The base is now flooded again.
Can anyone give me some advice about how to check if the outlet pipe is blocked. I can’t see how to access it.
ThanksApril 29, 2020 at 5:20 pm #468339electrofix
Moderatorcant be a blockage got to be a hole in a pipe somewhere. if the outlet hose was blocked it would just not pump out
you need to run the machine with the covers off so you can see the float. watch with a torch and see where the water comes from

ModeratorU can access the bottom by taking the front plinth off and looking in by shining a torch in when does it leak if its straight away? If so I would check hoses like dave has said in attached picture if it does it after 5 -10 mins still think spray arm is suspect see picture of where I have arrow to check spray arm I do warranty work on these and the spray arm is a common problem kai
