I’m getting the E5 error on this machine.

I start the Normal mode and the machine runs for about 7-9 minutes. Then it stops and beeps. The LEDs show the E5 error which is a fill error apparently.

It sounds like it’s running as normal and I have put a bowl in to test. The bowl was almost full when the error sounded.

I’ve tried programme 1 (Soak – Cold Prewash) and it runs without any error.

I have checked and cleaned the filters. I have checked the solenoid valve with a multimeter and it gives the correct reading (as per a YouTube instruction I found).

Any help on this please?

Might this be an inability to fill with hot water?

Or a faulty float switch?
