Smeg dish beeping at me!!

Customer said this integrated machine (DWI 612C) gets about 40 mins into a wash & aborts. No lights flashing indicating a fault just a beep beep/ beep beep etc, etc. When i got to see it, she had left it switched off at the point it had failed, i switched it on & it ran its pump in pulses & did its beep beeps! No flashing lights, could not get it to reset, even after removing all edge connectors from module.
New module required??

My hunch would be more likely an earth fault which is usually the element and sometimes the RF filter or mains block, it can play havoc with the pcb which won’t give any error codes but which nearly always survives 😉

Having the same problem on same model number.
Machine beeps and wash pump surges.If turned of at mains and left problem still present when turned back on. However if program cancelled and machine resarted it will run quite happily for a couple of days before failing again. Goes with out saying always performs perfectly when I am there!!
Problem appears to be in last stages of cycle as dishes are washed and clean.
No sign of leaks or water in base. Water matrix clean. Have meggered all components back from PCB and all good.
Any sugestions?

i have the exact same prob as jag12.i was thinking pcb.

Well, i hav’nt been back to look at ‘my’ one yet, had a rush of much easier jobs so getting them done first! Can the first to work it out post here please!! 🙂
