I have a SMEG dishwasher ST 45 which does not pump finish its cycle. It does not seem to be able to pump all the water out. Have cleaned fillter etc and taken hose out of drain pipe. If I lay the hose on the floor it seems to be pumping ok, but when I hook it back into drain pipe it stops. Any ideas?

Yes…you seem to have a partial blockage within the machine…this is probably not serious.
If you have checked the filter in the base of the machine, and carefully checked underneath it for any blockage too, but it still won’t drain then its time for an engineer.
Have a look in Repairs@ to see if there’s someone near you.
