Smeg Dishwasher DF614apx – E9 error

This error says “fill level exceed” but the mahine will often work fine, it does everything upto heating most of the time then suddenly go to the fault mode and pump the water out…… Could this be a heater fault because the water filling, levels and emptying all appear ok?

have you looked at the flow meter as the tech mentions it

its in the side air break unit part no 766610243
