smeg dishwasher di612c washes stops starts stops starts

hello there,
i have recently been out to a smeg dishwasher model: di612c
the complain was it doesnt finish the cycle later in the program it starts to wash sprays stop sprays stops and just keeps doing that.
there is no fault code flashing my first thought was the pcb i examined it but all looked ok, i have also heard rumours that this fault can occur if there is a problem with the dispencer solanoid it metered at 1.310k resistance the dispencer does open on the wash.

i thought id try it on the rinse program which worked fine and completed the cycle with no problems.
all other components tested ok
can any smeg engineers help or has anyone had this same fault i would be greatful to anyone who could point me in the right direction many thanks mike

shouldn’t the solenoid be more like 3.5? my smeg used to do all sorts of weird things until i pinched the coil from a water valve and fitted it to the dispenser. other than that, i praise god every day that my smeg keeps working.

Yes I thought it should be a least 4k but u never know I didn’t this a normal valve would fit thought I would have to buy whole dispencer

just hook up a valve an see what happens 😆

Hello again tried hooking up a valve but the problem is still there poss board?? Any Smeg engineers seen this fault before????

probably pcb but megger the circ pump to make sure and also make sure there are no leaks.

only other thing ave herd causing funny faults is the mains suppreser, 😆

that’ll be the older style with the filter at the front, not this one.
