Does anybody know if there’s an MFI model the same as this so I can look it up on MFIdent? If not, does anyone know what fault code the first & third neons from the lhs lit up indicate? When you start a progaramme you can hear the timer/slave unit [whichever it is] indexing round to the start position but nothing happens. Assume it should pump out first but there are 2 lives to the pump. [The pump runs ok if you activate the anti-flood float switch.]
Any help or service info greatly appreciated.

No mfi model that complex I am affraid, but it is the alternating valve you can hear wirring, this has a microswitch on it that often fails. best take the thing off, (it just pushes into the sump) and test it. just four wires, 2 are the motor you can connect to 240v while the other 2 are the switch contacts should be normally open, (I think) and then closes for a second or so.

    Thanks Mark,

Would failure of this microswitch prevent the machine from draining/filling at the start of a programme?

It does a self test before starting anything, so it is possible. on machines with a display it shows F8 and shuts down right at the start. on that model you have, the error codes are not clear so I cannot tell you what your flashing lights mean. Check also the dispenser coil. If all are ok suspect the pcb board itself. The alternating valve seems a common failure at the moment so i would start there as its so easy to test.
