SMEG dishwasher DWF 62WH

It gets stuck part way through program 4. Water in and out is OK, element is OK, filters clear, spray arm freely rotates and is not blocked.

I suspect the element thermostat is not passing message to timer that temperature has been reached – either the stat or it’s wire is suspect, in my opinion.

Would be grateful for any other opinion as I haven’t got a big enough kitchen for all the dirty plates that are piling up.

Also, what is availability of SMEG thermostat item number 818731072 please.
