    Hi

    Ive got a problem with a Smeg dwf64sse dishwasher. As soon as you switch on the 1 and last (4th) lights illuminate. I presume this is an error code but i’m unsure as to what it is. Have tried hold the start button but doesnt reset.

    Can anybody help me

    That’s the dreaded E2 error 🙁

    The flood protector will have activated most likely, cause is usually a blocked air break or somewhere around there, pressure switch etc.

    I tipped the machine back to see if there was any water in the base as usual, but to no avail. I’ve had loads of these motors leak but not on this occasion.

    Depending on which style of sump it is ,take out the filtr look for a rubber flap in the bottom right crnr clean through with a bottle brush sometimes this works
