Smeg Dishwasher DWI612C

Can anyone help? The last two dishwasher lights are stuck on red (so if you are looking at the dishwasher they are on the right hand side) and we can’t change them. Can’t switch the dishwasher on or off its completely stuck and these two lights are on red permanently.

If they won’t even go off when you switch off…try switching off at the wall/supply switch and restoring power again.

It’s possible that the pcb has let go, and if it has there’s also a possibility that another component has failed and damaged the pcb 😕

Thanks for the response. The pcb, that sounds serious (and expensive), is it? Is it anything I can attempt to repair. The user manual I have isn’t that helpful. Tried switching on and off at the wall, no luck.

Almost certainly the pcb then i’m afraid 😕

Not sure of the price TBH but wouldn’t be surprised if it’s closer to £200 than £100 so might be worth getting a professional in to check the rest for you and give you an estimate before you splash out on the off-chance?

One final thing you could try is the reset procedure which IIRC is to switch on the power button and press the program button four times within 3 seconds but i have to say i’m not hopeful sorry 😕
