After 4 years of no problems my dishwasher seems to have develeoped a fault.
I’ve read a lot of the faults listed on this forum about SMEG faults and the E2 problem. Maybe this is it. The dishwasher seems to be pulsing. I’ve tried the various reset sequences, this seems to remove the pulse for about 30 seconds, then it starts again. I’ve pulled the side panels off so I can see water coming in to the side chamber and into the water softener but then it pulses. Being an engineer I have had everything off, the pipes are all clean through, there is no sign of any leaks, bottom tray was dry, rotors on pumps seem to be free of any obstructions. I’m stumped.
Any water getting into the dishwasher is draining straight out (pulsing aswell). If I press the polystyrene on the overfill/flood sensor this gets the drainworking constantly until I let go. Then pulse again!!
