I have a problem with this dishwasher.

This machine appears to start the cycle normally – with short fill/drain cycle 3 or 4 times – at which point I would expect it to fill and wash. This machine, however, appears to abort the programme at this point. (Unfortunately the LCD has failed and does not provide any indication of the programme selected or indeed any error code.) Water comes into the machine and pumps out normally during the inital function, and the machine aborts after pumping out (2 or 3 minutes into the programme). The ‘Programme’ button appears to select normally but the machine only completes the functions described above and aborts immediately after the final pumping. This happens whichever programme has been selected.

The LCD incidentally, has not been working for at least 12 months. The machine however has been working normally without it during that time and think therefore that the problem must lie elsewhere.

All of the above, leads me to suspect the control module, but it’s not a cheap spare and doesn’t appear to include the display module.

If anyone has any experience of a similar fault or can offer any guidance I would be most grateful.

    Thanks

    Graham

Thanks Clive, I’ll go check that out. Apologies if it’s already been covered. I did search but guess I used the wrong keywords.

    I appreciate your response
