Smeg Dishwasher DWI710E1 – won’t stop!

Whatever programme I use, the dishwasher starts ok but never reaches the end of a cycle. It doesn’t stop though, it just keeps churning away. It uses the soap, it does warm up, but it doesn’t clean or rinse properly. Presumably it’s got “stuck” early in a cycle somewhere? Any ideas?

Does it get really hot or just a bit warm?

Hi,

I am getting the same problem with a SMEG DWi710E1.

The cycle will start, and get to the rinse most times and then just get stuck – it won’t move to the end of the cycle.

Sometimes it won’t get to the rinse but still get stuck.

The water gets hot, the plates get (almost) cleaned but the cycle doesn’t complete.

Any ideas?
