We have a smeg dishwasher (about 5-6 years old) which has been working well. Today it came up with a E6 error, it has done this before on Eco mode, but we just changed the program and it finished fine. Today though it stayed on E6 error and would not change.
I refilled the salt as always just before starting.
Tried to press program button 4 times to reset, now lights 4&5 continuously on. What can I do to fix. We found a few bits from a spoon at the bottom of the filter in the machine. It is probably something blocking the pump. Have checked the outlet hose which seems clear. HELP!
