smeg dishwasher problem

hi .
the dishwasher apears to start fine then when it gets to the main wash atleast, it starts to hum a bit loudly and sounds like no water is going into the main researvoir but oddly though i can hear water going out the waiste pipe. then its stops …
any one give me an idea whats most likely wrong with it ????

when the thing does stop the error lights are the 2 left lights but in the manuel the code isnt there to see.. 🙁

Lots of SMEG machines over the years – give us the model number, please. Down the edge of the door is always a good place to look.

sort of got the dishwasher going better , well atleast its going through more of the program before stopping.

now the error lighs 1 and 3 ( 1 being from left 4 being far right )cannt find the fault in the manuel..

whats that mean ??
how do you know what no. the error codes are too ??

plus any advice would be helpful too

Flood protection system has been activated. This points to a failure in the water level control circuit. Pressure switch failure is possible, blockages due to food detritus build-up is more likely.

Power off if investigating.
