ParticipantMy 3 month old dishwasher seems to have chucked a hissy fit and won’t work. The model number is LSA6050B (we are in France) I have no idea if the model exists in the UK or just has a different number. Its a full size dishwasher with 5 programmes. There are 5 green LEDs on the front panel and the last 2 lights to the right have “end” written above them and a picture of plates and a saucepan.
On Friday, not long after I put the dishwasher on, the last light on the right was on and the one next to it flashing. When I opened the door the tablet was in the bottom of the machine I was unable to get the machine to start again. Now the machine has the last 2 lights flashing (as it usually would to show the cycle has finished) but the programme selection button won’t work.
We have tried:-
1. Re-setting the machine using the multiple “programme” button push technique at start up, without success. At startup, after about one second the machine beeps and lights 4&5 continue to flash.
2. We have checked the transfer pipe for blockages.
3. We have searched for a heater element reset switch but can’t locate one.
I’d be grateful for any advice to get the machine up and running again.
Thanks in advance.July 30, 2006 at 11:22 am #183568Dave_Conway

3 months old, it’s under guarantee surely ? 🙂
None of those light combinations seem to match the general Smeg error codes so there may be a component failure affecting the software or the PCB itself could be faulty 😕
I would check the guarantee though as the repair should be FOC.
