Smeg dishwasher with error code E2

Hello,
I have a DW164 Smeg dishwasher that cannot complete any of the programs, whichever program I choose stops after a couple of minutes with a beep and when I open the door error code E2 is displayed.
Before I paid the Smeg service call out I just wanted to know what the E2 error code might mean? and is it likely to be expensive to fix?

Its basicly a water overfilling issue or at least it thinks it is ovefilling. Often just a blockage but not always so easy to sort out. Would suggest posting your postcode here to get a response from an engineer.
