SMEG DUCO4SS – Oven Thermostat broken?

Hi all

Wondering if anyone can help me diagnose a problem?

I have a SMEG DUCO4SS double electric oven, the main oven has stopped working:

1. Fan still works ok
2. No heat from Grill or Oven in the bottom
3. The interior light doesn’t come on
4. The small orange thermostat light doesn’t come on
5. The thermo stat switch still clicks on/off
6. Top oven & grill works fine

I suspect its the thermostat… what do you think?

More likely the selector switch burnt out – the thermostat only controls one function, the selector contols all.

Power off if investigating.

Wow thanks thats probably the fastest response ever!

You wouldn’t happen to know how that front panel comes off would you? I’ve removed all the knobs and buttons plus the two screws that appear to hold the panel in place… but still it seems held on by something?
