SMEG DW1 710 E1 leaking

My Smeg dishwasher has suddenly started pouring water out of the bottom right corner during the cycle. A couple of weeks ago the door became quite difficult to open and close but does not seem to be out of place. Could it be a problem with the seal and if so is it something I can buy and replace myself or do I need an engineer. Or could it be related to the problem with the door opening or even something else?

Also, as I’ve had to stop it mid-cycle, is there something I can do to drain the water that’s sitting in the bottom of the machine.

Sounds like you door may not be sealing is the d/w level?.
Try scooping water out with a dish cloth.
