Help please. Smeg dw1612c d/w. Fault goes like this: set on any 1 of the 5 programmes and the m/ch pumps out first then makes filling noises and pump out noises- pretty standard stuff for one of these things. It then fills, wash motor starts up as it continues to fill, h2o turns off, and washes for about 2 more minutes then nothing, it stops, power still to programme light, no fault codes, just as described the machine stops. If you then cancel that programme and start a new one the same thing will happen in about the same time scale. Any ideas please? Things noticed: can`t see anything visually wrong with the pcb, s/disp solenoid is not o/circuit, suppressor at rear of machine IS split however- hmm? a possible cause but to stop the d/w I doubt it is this as the m/ch immediately works if a new prog is set, had a good look at door wiring loom-actually took off the sheathing to see the wires-all ok.

I have had similar on other versions of Smeg dw . Its often the pcb cutting out.

Yes Bendy thanks for your reply, I appreciate it. I suspect this is the case too but still have doubts……..to be honest even if it was a dead cert I`d still have my doubts with this stuff!! Anyone else like to suggest something I might of missed??
