Smeg DWD 1 SSE Doesn’t Start

Hi.

Noticed last week that the machine would intermittently stop during the wash programme, the panel display and LEDs would all go out briefly, but continuing the programme worked fine.

Now, trying to start the machine in any programme, press and hold the start button, machine beeps twice as normal, the drain pump runs VERY briefly, then nothing else happens.

There’s no error codes shown on the display, and the machine seems to know when the door is openclosed, as the display changes from “P”whatever, to the double – symbol.

There’s no error codes shown at any time.

The “reset” instructions I found on here don’t seem to make sense with this model, as on this one the programme selector is a rotary control, not a button.
