Tried several times – the 1st, 4th and 5th (the first being the eco light) come on every time but never flash.
Once or twice during this process there’s a clunk from way down below (to the left) so maybe this is the drain pump trying to pump out as there’s still some water in the base of the unit. The filters have been checked.

drain pumps are at the front right 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time disconnect the float switch on the base and see what happens then not sure if you know but you can unclip the base with a flat head if you tilt it back if it still does nothing when you unplug the float switch your drain pump is dead or your pcb is corrupt/blow or is the incorrect pcb is you have just replaced it

Disconnected the float switch and tried to reset / start etc but still nothing.

I’ve tried phoning Smeg today to confirm that the pcb they’ve sent me is indeed the correct one. All the plugs fit but the actual pcb looks different and has a different code.
The parts dept is not available until Monday so I’ll have to wait until then to confirm it’s correctness.

Cheers ServEng! 😀
I guess then that several smeg pcbs look very similar (where the connections all fit) but are very specific to each model. The code on the old one is 10613130 while the new one is 10613000. I just assumed that over the 5 years since we purchased the dishwasher the pcb had been updated.
Looks like Monday’s discussion with the Smeg parts dept may get to the bottom of this!
I’ll update this thread on Monday (hopefully with good news!!)

Participantno probs ill check back monday and see how you got on make sure you give them the correct model number and serial number serial being very important as theyll just send you the wrong pcb if the serial is wrong

Just ordered the correct PCB!
The Smeg parts dept have, apparently, quoted me the incorrect part number originally. I’ve now placed the order for the correct part.
I’ll post the outcome once the new pcb is installed.
Thanks again for your help!

New pcb (correct one judging by the code and the appearance) but same result – the eco light, 4th and 5th light come on but nothing happens – tried resetting but no change.
Need to decide now whether to call out an engineer or just bin it and buy a non-Smeg appliance.
