ParticipantHi All,.
I remember these forums being extremely helpful when my washing m/c was messing around, 😀 . so here goes with the dishwasher prob,.
The last few times we have used it,. it runs fine for 15-20mins,. then it just goes quiet and has the program number flashing in the display (have tried on multiple progs)
turning off and back on again and pressing the start button gets it underway again but from the same time that was remaining when it stopped previously.
Program then completes fine. Any ideas please?,. I notice there are factory reset procedures for some SMEG washers,. does such a thing exist for mine?,. tried searching to no avail,.
Thanks for any help!

I have seen a SMEG reset code – not sure if it will work for yours, but worth a go.
These are two links which list the reset process:

Good luck 🙂

The re-set works specifically to tell a machine which thinks that it has a flow meter that it hasn’t. It doesn’t do anything else.
OP is describing a classic pcb corruption issue.

Hi Penguin45,
I notice you have a lot of right answers on this forum!
Can you help with the below?
I am having a problem with a SMEG DWi710E1.
The cycle will start, and get to the rinse most times and then just get stuck – it won’t move to the end of the cycle.
Sometimes it won’t get to the rinse but still get stuck.
The water gets hot, the plates get (almost) cleaned but the cycle doesn’t complete.
Any ideas?
Is it the timer (most expensive part) or should I investigate anything else before then?
Thanks in advance
