I have the above washer but it has decided to stop working.

Press the start button the drain pump operates for 2-3 seconds then stops. No fault lights to indicate where to start the fault finding.

If I select another program number the same happens.

    Any ideas guys?

    Thanks in advance.

Could be a number of problems, the first being the dispenser solenoid, secondly an earth fault or thirdly a faulty pcb.

The only pragmatic way to find out if its the pcb is to rule out all the other possibilities so time to get a meter out.

Power disconnected at all times :zap:

thanks for the advice as to where to start looking, I assume you mean the salt dispenser?
Am I looking for 230v to the solenoid all the time or at certain periods?
Any advice would be gratefully received.

No, the soap dispenser has a coil to operate it, this can intermittently go open circuit. The way to check this is to use your multimeter and gently flex the contacts to see if the circuit breaks although this is not foolproof…sometimes the only way to confirm this fault is to substitute it for a known good one.
DO NOT check for live power at any time, live testing is dangerous and completely unnecessary :zap:
