smeg dwf 64 ss e
press start and pause button for a few seconds the machine drains then beeps which i presume means it has reset.
once reset turn knob to set program, press start you can hear timer ticking and a very quiet hum, then machine beeps and that’s all it does.have no idea what the fault codes for this machine should be and cant find them in the fault code guide. any input would be really appreciated.

late reply I know, but not sure a SS e will have a timer to hear clicking? Would suggest it is the alternating you valve you can hear and that is where the problem is.

yes most likely diverter valve usually e8 fault
