Smeg DWF 84SSE D/W stopping half way through then wont start

Smeg D/W stops before the rinse prog after doing the pre wash and main wash, Select another prog and it drains ok, now when you select a prog it drains as per norm but it wont do anything else, lights 1&3 flash pre wash and rinse, any help please

fault indicating no fill , but as it filled initially it could be the alternating valve by the sump sticking which causes no fill the little gears inside wear and cause this fault
