Smeg DWF64SSE 1st and 3rd lights (of 4) lit = not fill.

Switch on, prog 2, pumps operates approx 30 secs, then machine beeps and displays above error code. Page 65 of the bible says “Fault codes for E5 generation.. **
E5 .. no fill”
This is true.
Have powered up Aquastop on flying lead and it works OK.
Removed venturi matrix thing on rhs and looked at it.
Put it back.
Still not working.
Checked disp. solenoid 1600ohm.
NTC 12kohm
regen solenoid 5kohm
p/sw 1 click
Extracted pcb and looked at it.
Put back pcb, squeezing plugs.
Still not working.
No sign of leaking into base.
No sign of anything.
Is this one for the blacklist?

Check the matrix on the r/h side – secondary feed to the float switch off that. If it sludges up (or the tube through the sump) all sorts of weird things cab happen.
