My Smeg dishwasher is having intermittent problems.I use prog 4 and When it fails it stops with the all 4 lights on.This is the indication you get before you press start to start a cycle.If you press start when the dishwasher fails it restarts OK at the point in the program it had reached when getting the error.it then continues to the end of the program without problems.I have noticed when it fails it is always about 3 seconds after opening the soap dispenser.I have checked the solenoid for continuity while flexing the terminals and cannot find any problem with it.
I suspect there is a electrical noise problem (maybee when the solenoid de-energizes) which appears to pause the program . Any ideas..P.S. I noticed a similar problem on the forum from January this year but it was just listed as Smeg unknown error code which will be the case as the lights show a start code not an error code.Re: Smeg DWF64SSE
The soap dispenser is a notorious cause of computer problems; replacement is the only option.
