ParticipantHi.
Have a problem with the above dishwasher wonder if anyone has a suggestion. On every program the cycle stops on the wash cycle. It tries to restart but after 3 attempts all the lights come on like its back to the beginning of the program. No flashing lights so no fault code.If start button is pressed it will carry on from where it stopped. If the heated prewash cycle is selected the same thing happens (works ok on cold pre wash). The water does heat up and if you press start enough times then it will finish the program.
Can anyone help?

It maybe that the heater element is coated with scale, the control will abort the programme if a specific temperature rise is not detected in a certain time, lining of the element with scale will prevent it from working efficiently .
Cause could be water softener incorrectly set to your particular water hardness or salt not being added to the water softener often enough.
The heater is a tubular type, can be cleaned but has to be removed.March 13, 2009 at 10:44 pm #280209scooter100

Always UNPLUG first, it’s underneath, tipping over to the left when viewed from front. You can then remove base.
It is connected between the circulation pump and top spray arm pipe,it’s tubular about 8 ” long.
It is held with a couple of clips which do the same job as a jubilee clip but are permanent and need to be prised off,you can’t re use them unless you have a special tool,a jubilee clip of similar size will usually do.
Best of luck.
And don’t forget UNPLUG first !!
Cheers
