    Can anybody please help…we have a smeg dwi45.1 slimline integrated dishwasher.

    The diswasher has developed an problem with its start cycle, and does not let you select a new programme when the door is open…the light continues to flash to indicate the end of the previous programme.

    This problem started out as an intermittant problem and now the dishwasher will not work at all, any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

    Check that the door latch is actually in the open position – machine cannot be reprogrammed if the door latch is in the closed position.

    Thanks for the fast response…The door latch appears to be working.

    Any other ideas?
