Help Please. We have a three year old DWI 67.1 which has give us good service. We have had to have it cleaned out once after showing an error code “E6” which was basically a blocked outlet.

The machine is now showing a “E9” code and we cannot find any reference to this code in the the Manual this Forum or elsewhere.

Any guidance greatly appreciated – we at at a loss.

It’s the same as E2 – hours of fun to be had with Smeg and Diplomat posts in this forum.

    Good luck,

It’s not exactly the same P.

E9 is basically a fill timout, there are a few possible causes for it, the worst implication being that the wash motor is goosed. I think Mark had one or two motors giving that error of late.

    David,

Assuming it’s not a fault with the control board it may well be the air break/pressure switch hoses clogged up. As clearing these involves hauling the machine out and opening it up it’s not something I’d be advising you to do. Check Repairs@ for a local engineer.
