    Our Smeg dishwasher is indicating that we have got a E5 problem (the dishwasher fails to draw water). It starts ok, it draws water and drains water but after 5 mins it stops with the error message. When I open the door it has not drained all the water out. Any ideas what I should do next?

    I wonder if the pressure switch isn’t cutting in, and after a default time it stops the fill and switches on the drain pump for a set period which is not long enough to empty the now over-full machine?

    If thats the case then the fill matrix must be blocked or the pressure switch itself (or associated wiring) faulty, or possibly even the pcb controller.
