    Hi,

I’ve been out to the above machine. Its the version like the diplomat with the 5 programme LEDs not the lcd display.
The programme starts, empties as usual then fills for about 20 seconds then flashes the first 2 lights. The last light (5) was static on the display but this was the programme that i was trying it on so dont know if this counts or not.

If anybody can shed any light it would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    1 + 2 flashing and 5 static is E3, no heat error.

Element, thermostat (manual reset) or thermistor in the door are the likely culprits, or one of them anyway 😉

Thanks for the quick reply. I checked the heater and the cut out in the bottom of the machine but they all checked out ok. Didnt see the door stat but didnt think that if the temp stat had gone it would flash an error.

Also forgot to say that the customer had originally told me when i arrived that it was the first 3 lights that were flashing each time they tried it. Do you have any idea what that would mean.

    Thanks

    Nick

The first three are E7 and normally just needs resetting 😀

It’s looking for a flow meter that doesn’t exist or if it has one it may be faulty, try the reset first though 😉

Switch off. Switch on and hit “start” 4 times within 3 seconds. 1 + 5 should now be lit. Switch off, count to 10, switch on and run rinse programme.

    Chris.
