smeg DWI54 error code 2 HELP

Hi guys. I know the E2 subject has been covered over and over and I have read all the ideas and tried all the solutions. I have removed the matrix and completely cleaned it out and replaced it and cleaned all the pipes, sump and tubes related. I have removed and tested the pressure switches and they all seem to work (the over fill switch for sure) It still does an E2 on first fill. So what else can it be? Can someone tell me is the water inlet stop valve controlled by the pressure switch (the round one attached directly to the matrix) or is the overflow switch dual purpose and should it switch twice, once when full then again if overfilled (this the one under the machine connected by a thin tube) I’m at my wits and with this machine HELP

Hi Marks,

There’s no easy answer here I’m afraid. Normally when we get to that stage we’d replace the side chamber anyway as a matter of course but whether or not that will cure it is 50/50.

It may be time for some pro help.
