Smeg dwi612 pump problem

I have got a dwi612 which needs the pump replacing. can this be done from the front of the dishwasher or is it at the back of the washer?.

Also the when the turning the screw for the rear leg to minus should it rettract right the way back into the dish washer or only so far. The reason i ask this is that there are water pipes running between the front and the back of the dishwasher. So i can not just slide it out from underneath the worktop. Any help would be grateful as i am trying to avoid taking the worktop off to get the dishwasher out.

Access from the front (with the power off of course :zap:)

The rear leg will retract far enough to clear the worktop but be carefull when “dragging” it forward as they snap quite easily 😉
