    This dishwasher starts, pumps out / fills with water / circulates / after about 4mins machine dies…customer tells me it has also emptied water..
    can anyone advise as to possible fault…little knowledge of smeg!!

    Might be something to do with dispenser solenoid. They’re reputed to cause all sorts of faults. Try pulling off the wires and connecting them to a spare water valve coil.
