Customer has a SMEG dishwasher with a broken door lock. The label is worn but we managed to work out it’s a DWI612C. However, it seems there are two possible door locks for this model dependant on serial number. As far as I can tell the serial number is 102550, though I’m not sure about the first 1. Can anyone help identify which of the two locks is the right one for this serial number?
697690139 is the early version and clips into the control panel itself while 697690184 is the later version and screws onto the stainless inner door.
If it is the earlier version then you need to check the control panel itself is not broken as they often brake off the lugs the door lock clips into.
It is indeed broken lugs on the control panel which is the problem so that will need replacing. Is 763735661 the correct part number for the control panel facia with the lugs?
