Temperature sensor is a reasonable bet – p/no 977870006. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you one promptly. It’s clipped on next to the dispenser. It’s an NTC device, so connecting a test meter (set to the kOhm range) across the terminals and gently warming it should see the resistance falling. Worth checking the pcb for burnt tracks before shelling out on the sensor.
Stay safe, power off before working on the appliance.

Hi, have tried the temp sensor(used a meter and witnessed resistance change when heat applied) and have given the pcb a good/close looking at. Both seem fine.
Put it all back together and and tried it on another program. Same thing happens. Stops towards the end of cycle and beeps, tries to go again and beeps. Appears to have washed and is on a hot rinse cycle tries to progress to next stage, but is unable to. When door is opened the choosen program LED is flashing. Also waste water still present in the bottom of dishwasher.
I suspect that the flashing LED is because the program has ended early due to the door beng opened. This is not a fault code?Regards Holty

Before i go and puchase a soap dispenser, can anyone confirm that the resistance reading i am getting across the coil in the dispenser is to high, 1147ohms. Smeg model DI 612 C. Cheers.

Nope…sounds ‘ball-park’ correct to me but these can and do go intermittent. Occasionally you can prove this by gently flexing the contacts while you measure the resistance, or more definitively by substituting it for a known good one 😉
