whats up with this then,
SMEG fab 30, fridge freezer, compressor running always, freezer cold enough but fridge barely reaching 9 degrees. uniform 1 cm deep layer of frost on rear interior wall of fridge, comp will turn off if stat turned down manually but will not re start without full defrost and then same cycle starts again. Have vacced out system and re gassed (its R600A) and now have ice build up on suction pipe of compressor (see pics below) despite correct charge (68 grams according to label)
not really behaving in usual blocked evaporator way. Just bugging me and its an expensive fridge that customer wants repaired.
anyone sugest anything?
