Smeg Fab 32 fridge freezer

We recently changed the fridge compressor on our Fab32 fridge freezer as the fridge wasn’t cooling properly.shortly after the repair the fridge was tripping the electrics out in our property.the engineer returned to then tell us it has a blockage somewhere hence why it was tripping our electrics.Is it possible to fix a blockage as we were told today you can’t fix blockages on fridges, can somebody confirm this please? Thanks

Sometimes you can clear a blockage but in most cases it will not clear.

If you had the compressor changed then the old compressor may have pumped oil around the system.

This type of blockage is terminal.
