    Hello,

I posted a while back regarding the poor preformance of our Smeg FAB28 (model no. S28 STRP/1) fridge here and since then it has been behaving on and off. Recently though its getting warmer inside (10c) and the compressor is now running constantly (and so very hot!).

I’ve also noticed that the inner back wall ‘squishes’ inwards in some places like its come unstuck from something behind. I seem to recall reading somewhere that if this happens its more or less had it 😯 . Am I right? Had we just better go and get another fridge and not bother calling out an engineer?? Must admit to not being overly impressed with this Smeg fridge. Cool looks, but not so cool performance 🙄

    Thank you

    Hi Claire

yes its true you will have to replace this appliance as the inner liner has become unbonded from the evaperaor.this fault is non repairable soo go and choose a new appliance
